 this years Christmas tassel.

 this one is for my car mad great grandson's 2nd birthday.

    After doing the whimsical houses, I made a people journal too. I left them with no faces, I didn't want to ruin them, posing them was fun. Look carefully at the 4 boys, can you see the song they are spelling out? I made the first one with his arms in the air, then inspiration hit and I did the other 3 as M, C & A.

  

  

  

  

  

  

My latest project. I had bought a cheap little wooden house online, thinking it would be cute in the garden, but it turned out to be thin balsa wood so not suitable for outdoors. I was going to just toss it, then had an idea. I spent a day cutting it down, giving it a reno, then made a new journal and attaching the house to the front.

Another day and a half making 40 "whimsical houses" out of my scrap papers and I have an adorable and unique book. The roof comes off the house and I have fairy lights in it. Of course I had to make houses to represent my favourite food (strawberries) and drink (frozen coke), and what house book would be complete without a tree house!
