More Christmas projects - these little boxes hold a single chocolate coin, and are for the ladies in my weekly art group. I doubt I'll ever make them again, so fiddly with the tabs being only 1/4" wide.

These are for the staff and other volunteers at my local communuity centre. The large ones for the staff, I call a backwards box, because it's assembled in the opposite way it normally would be. The lid opening is at the back (see middle box), so as to give a nice smooth line at the front. The side tab, which would normally be stuck on the inside, has been scalloped and stuck on the outside, I think it makes a nice feature, A hole was punched in the front so the recipient can get a sneak peek at what's inside (in this case, a multi coloured Christmas ornament).

The rest are for the other volunteers. The bags are for the girls, each with a tealight candle (lovely vanilla scent), and the choc coin holders are for the guys.

A project I only found out about this morning. It's my granddaughter's birthday tomorrow, she bought an album for her guests to sign and asked me to decorate the cover for her, her colours are teal, gold and white - she loved it. FIY, that's her nick name, which is what she wanted.

A few days ago, she also asked my to make a birthday card for her boyfriend, who's birthday is within a few days of hers. She loved it too. Here they are as bridesmaid and groomsman at a friends wedding last year.

I also made her one, it's a "bouncy" card, with a spring in the base so it pops open.

Not to blow my own trumpet, but I'm really happy with how all these projects turned out.

Been busy again, this time it was 23 lolly bags. John, from the local community centre where I volunteer, reached his 10th anniversary of volunteering, so a surprise lunch was arranged for him. I made a bag for everyone, with a sweet treat inside.

This years giveaways - 100 matchbooks with a candy cane inside. I went with some bright and colourful papers instead of the usual Christmas theme this year. With all I have on my plate between now and Christmas, I'm glad I got all these done early. Another Christmas job ticked off.
