My latest little projects. Firstly, is mini album\autograph book I made for my granddaughters year 12 graduation present. In their infinite wisdom (!!), her school ditched their year book this year. It will be on a disc for them, but no hard copy. I wanted her to have somewhere to put pics of her friends and teachers, and to get signatures from them all.

The cover is laminated for extra strength. The pages alternate between cardstock and patterned paper. There are 40 stitched hearts for her to get siggies on, then stick in. All papers are Kaszazz products, the alpha dies aren't.

Next is a heap of cute little party favour bags to hold a mini choc Santa. The top flap will be stuck down when the Santas go in.

Most paper crafters have heard of pocket letters - I've changed it up to make pocket presents. Each envelope will have some little gift in it, such as a scratchie ticket, flat lolly, a little note etc, and they can be hung up. The first one is using Kaszazz album pocket pages, with 4' x 6" pockets. I don't like the divided page style of scrapping, so figured this would be a cool way to use up the sleeves I have.

This one is using regular trading card sleeves, with 2 1/2' x 3 1/2" pockets. It's hard to see, but the letters have been stamped and heat embossed with gold glitter powder.

I hope the recipients get as much fun and pleasure from these, as I got making them.

Some more money boxes, this time with heat embossing. These are for my boys and daughters in law.

I also made these little treat pockets for the ladies in my weekly social group, I give them out at our Christmas party. They have a tea bag and sugar sachet. With 50 to make, I kept them simple.

Today I made a start on this years Christmas packaging for my grandkids. One of the elders of the tribe decided she would like money instead of gifts the year she turned 10 (she wasn't being grabby or rude - I couldn't think of anything to get her, so I asked what she'd like).

So that has now become the tradition with all my grandies - when they turn 10, they get cash for birthday and Christmas. They love having spending money, and it solves a problem for me.

Each year I make a different 'container' for them, so here is this years model. It has 5 sections and I designed it to exactly fit the rolled up notes.Of course, it will be full when they get it, I just left 2 sections empty to show the construction. They were so easy to make once I had the measurement worked out.

Another Kaszazz TTD (new product training session for consultants) has come and gone, and we have some gorgeous new release products and a brand new catalogue. I always do my own design, rather than the one chosen by Kaszazz, mostly because their designs are way to elaborate for this very "CaS" (clean and simple) scrapper.

So here is my take on it, and even this version is a bit OTT for me, with all that fussy cutting, but I'm happy with the result. The photo was taken before I stuck everything down - all the edges have been inked now.

FRAMED NAME

A gift for a wedding i attended recently.

Here's a fun and quick little project I did this week - turned a couple of DVD cases into pencil\stationary boxes. I also made one for my neighbour as we're doing a course together, and these are our pencils cases to take to class.

I also recently bought a light up sign thingy, and rather then use the letters that came with it, I made my own slide in word plates. I die cut the letters out of a strip of black cardstock, then inked a sheet of computer paper and stuck behind it.

As you can see, the unlit one is brighter than the lit, but if I have it on at night, it will look awesome. I'm really happy with the way it turned out, and I can easily change the slides whenever I want to.

Memory Pages

Being inspired by a design from a fellow Kaszazz consultant, I made these framed pages for my sons, in memory of my parents. Dad has been gone since 2004, and we lost Mum just 3 weeks ago, on mothers day. The boys were always very close to my parents, and Mums passing has hit them pretty hard.

We are having a family get together today to celebrate both of their birthdays, which are a week apart. Today is exactly in the middle of both dates, and very convenient being Sunday so nobody is at work, and they can all come. I'm sure Mum and Dad arranged it that way for us.

The example for a workshop I'm teaching next week. Some of the ladies are new to scrapping, so I wanted to keep it simple.

Back again on the 3rd June with the update on the workshop. Everyone enjoyed it and I was in awe of the pages the ladies made, especially those who have never scrapped before. Most of them didn't follow my sample and just ran with their own designs, which is what I love to see. Well done ladies, and you were a lovely group of girls.

This years Easter boxes for my 'big kids'. Last year's were pretty fancy - this time they're rather plain, I'm making the lovely colours the feature - just added an Easter daisy as the accent. They were very easy to make with the EPB.

A fun little half easel card for a sick neighbour. It's all Kaszazz, and I got to use my cute new stamps. Took ages though, I'm glad I'm not trying to sell it, I'd be working for about $1 an hour.
