Paige has been busy making cards to send back to Santa and the gang back at the North Pole. She and her friends Rudy and Spencer, have been getting up to round town over this past 2 weeks, so she needed some quiet time at home.

Here are just some of their antics, with more to come before Christmas day!

07 December, 2016

A few last minute gifts for some neighbours, the boxes went together easily once I worked out the measurements. The standing boxes each have an Avon shampoo, and close with a ribbon tie as a regular bon-bon.

The 3 sided bon-bon at the bottom has lollies in it, and instead of the tie, I pushed the ends together for something different.

While they are Christmas gifts, I used non traditional paper and colours for a change.

I finally finished all my Christmas projects.

From left - the red tray is holding little treats for the ladies in my social group. We're having our Christmas lunch tomorrow and each ladies will get a little treat with a chocolate in it. For those who don't \ can't eat choc, there is a cute little box with a tea bag and sugar.

Next are cards for friends...
and family...the 4 on the right are gift card cards - the gift card fits into a slot where the cut out is.

Next are the gifts - the two single ones are for my lovely friends, we have regular lunches and give each other a small pressie for Christmas and Birthdays. The double box in front is the secret Santa for the Womens group lunch tomorrow.

The one Paige is holding is for her cousin Clint, who is my brothers adopted elf. Sadly, he became a zombie elf, so his gift reflects his living dead' status. Yes I know - weird, but that's us - spooky and crazy to the last.

Last are my giveaways, which I described in a previous post.

So that should be it until next year, it's been fun making them all.

A set of cards I was commissioned to make.

This years Christmas giveaways - 108 down, 42 to go as soon as I get some more candy canes. Showing appreciation to all those shop assistants who have to deal with a not always polite public during the lead up to Christmas.

Some little Christmas treats I made a couple of weeks ago for the ladies in a local Women's group I'm a member of. Each one will have a little chocy treat stuck in it.

This morning it dawned on me that some of the ladies might not be able to eat chocolate, so I made some little boxes containing a tea bag and sugar sachet.

 The boxes -

Christmas card for a friend who loves cats and shabby chic\vintage.

20 October, 2016

This one is pretty bright with the yellow plus multi coloured stripes. Nothing like a non traditional, 'in your face' Christmas card.

With all that 'activity' I decided to leave the Santas white.

18 October, 2016

Another Christmas card. No wonder I don't attempt to sell them - ones like this take ages to make and nobody would pay the price by the time labour is factored in. But I enjoy making a few each year for family and friends.

Two more cards today. They were both supposed to be Christmas cards, but the first one doesn't look Christmasy, so it's now a birthday card.

As usual, all products are Kaszazz. This one uses the paper flowers and leaves which I colours with AIAMS - same with the ribbon. The flower centres are our new washi tape stuck onto white cardstock and punched.

This simple easel card has punched poinsettias and leaves and I used my AIAMs to draw the veins. There is Ice Stickles on the centre bits for a bit of sparkle. The greeting panel is set on foam mounts so it's raised enough to hold the folded panel in place. The only thing that isn't Kaszazz is the flower punch.

I decided to make a start on my Christmas cards today - only for the select few who I know will appreciate them.. This one is for Mum, I only have to write in now. I'm really pleased with how it came out.

29 September, 2016

We had a Team Training Day this month to herald the release of the brand new Kaszazz catalogue. I decided to go at the last minute, as a spot was available in a nearby town. I'm not in the organisers team, but the great thing with Kaszazz is that everyone helps each other, whether your in their group or not.

It was a long day - 9-5 - but a very enjoyable one. Sandra (the team leader who held the event) was so nice, as were all the ladies, most of whom are in her team. They all made me feel very welcome.

We made a M & T (make and take), 3 cards and 2 pages. It was pretty full on, especially as the instructions were a bit out of whack, so not that easy to follow. But we all got there in the end and were so happy with the final results.

We got a pack with heaps of papers, a stamp set, stencil, ink pad and the bird embellishments, so that helps to keep the cost of my list down a bit, but it's still pretty long. Sometimes with a new release, I go only for the paper packs, but this time I want so much of the new stuff.

This was my first TTD, and now I'm wondering why I waited so long to go to one. It definitely won't be the last.

17 July, 2016

I've still been making boxes, I can't seem to get enough of them these days. Here are some of my more recent ones. They're not my ideas but some, if not most, I've redesigned to suit what I wanted them for.

Flip Top box - Kaszazz paper, so elegant.

Pop Out box - again in Kaszazz paper. I redesigned it to hold a small treat.

Triangle box - using Kaszazz cardstock, it's so nice and strong compared to the others - ideal for these little projects.

Two Tone Triangle box

Rose box - something a bit different.

Ferrero Explosion box - I love this one, so pretty in the Kaszazz Heartfelt paper.
