I hope everyone enjoys their day.
This is what took me 5 1/2 hours to make a few days ago - the boxes are for my big kids, the Easter Bunny's carrots are for the grandies. They're filled with mini chocolate bars.
Up until this year I have always given the grandkids a chocolate rabbit. Mum always did that for my kids, so I followed the tradition. But they get so much from the Easter Bunny that I decided to cut it back this year and start a new tradition - to make a fun little box with a couple of small treats in it. That way I don't contribute as much to the chocolate overload.

My grandson plays junior golf at the local course and one of the fathers, Peter, is the junior co-ordinator. The club captain, Dot, who retired last year, was a great advocate for our group and always defended the kids against the few adult members who had a whinge about them now and then. She loves the littlies.
A parent suggested to me that we do something for the 2 of them to show our appreciation, I suggested a framed photo of the kids and came up with these.
We presented them a couple of weeks ago and Dot & Peter were so happy with the unexpected gifts - poor old Dot was a bit overwhelmed and shed a few tears and hugged everyone within reach!
Everyone liked them, now I've been asked to do a bigger one to put up in the club house.
